Default How do you convert a PNG file to an ABR file (brush)?

I apologize if I don't have this in the right forum. I wasn't sure if it should go here or in the Photoshop forum.

I am just starting to dabble in digi elements for my photos and really LOVE using brushes over PNGs. I have PSE 4.0 and would love to know if there's a way to convert PNG files to ABR files. Is this possible and if so, could you share with me how it's done?

THANKS!

Brushes have to be smaller than 2500x2500 pixels. (about 8x8 in.). Basically, if your png is smaller than than, you can just go to Edit > Define Brush Preset, and you'll have a brush.

I have a detailed tutorial on the process here:

Even though it uses a photo as the source of the brush, all the ideas are there that you would need to make a brush from anything.

Hope this helps!
