I guess I will have to look into that tutorial as well. I have both 5 & 7 on my laptop and opened 7 and fiddled with it for 45 minutes and closed it up. Way too confusing and different. I can't decide if I should even learn it when I still have the old one. Not sure what 7 has to offer than the others don't.

I upgraded from PSE 5 to PSE 7 about a month ago. I use LR to organize and edit my photos, so I can't speak to the organizer part of the program. I found PSE 7 to be very similar in the full edit mode. One major difference is that you cannot pull things up from the project bin onto your layout. I used to scroll through the blending modes with the wheel on my mouse, now I have to use the arrow keys to scroll with. To find the other tools hidden under a icon, one needs to double click on the icon and a menu of the other tools come up. I've found that most of the shortcuts still work. There is a little flower icon at the bottom right of the screen-click on that and elements has a tutorial on what ever it described, ie. blend different layers together. Also there are some videos at Adobe that describe the new features.
Hope this helps.
