Default Scanning 12x12 to digital

Since I've gone from paper to digital, I've just about decided to get rid of my paper supplies. I'd also like to have my 12x12 scrapbook pages scanned to jpegs that I can copy in 8x8 format for myself and others, but I've not found anyone online that does this. I'm not confident in my ability to scan and stitch and would rather have a pro do this.

Any suggestions?

I am not great at stitching myself and have found taking digital photos on my 12x12 paper layouts works the best for me....I place them on a big white clipboard (I use purple painters tape), make sure the white balance is on and then photograph. I then use PSE to resize them at 8x8 at 300 dpi.

I don't know of a professional service for scanning - sorry!

I only have a point-and-shoot, and everytime I try to take a digital photograph of a layout, it is unclear - or at least not clear enough to put in another album.

Thanks for the suggestion. If I get a better camera this summer, that may be the answer for me.

I might check Kinko's or a print shop in your area, they might be able to scan for you.
