I started out strong, but have averaged about 4 photos a week the past two weeks. I started doing it in one format, and then changed them, so I've been transferring pics and journaling from one layout to another. I want to work on them tonight while I'm watching the Super Bowl. I, too, am growing tired already of taking pics in my house. I need to take my camera out with me more.

I am loving it! I took way more pictures than I needed to... but I always do that = ) I can't wait to look back at this project in 10 years. I love to journal and this way I am putting pictures with my journaling. I am just trying to capture what our everyday life is because most of my scrapbook pages focus around a big event (Christmas, birthdays, Vacations). This is a totally different side for me to record.
I decided that I am going to change my theme and layout monthly... because I do get bored but I also want a uniform look. It is the best I could come up with. I also have been going between double page layouts and single layouts. I think it will be nice to shorten the overall book... but it also gives me weeks with bigger pictures. I am so glad that I had so much inspiration here to make me do this project because it has been absolutely delightful! I love seeing everyones pages!

I'm doing more journalling than I thought I would, my friends joke about me (why say in 10 words what I can say in 100 !!) LOL. But I'm representing a week each time, not necessarily a photo every day, and I'm happy with that.

I love this said - as I have been stressed up with the two days I forgot to take photos, but it can be done later if I just can take a photo of one of the "daily" stuffs afterwards. |

I enjoy figuring out what image will best represent the day for me! I don't always take a photo every day - sometimes I scan something in, or sometimes I'll pull an image off Google. Wherever the image comes from, I just put it in my Project 365 file and scrap it on Sunday. It's fun looking back on the week, so I can imagine how fun it will be looking back on a whole year! And I love reading about everyone's lives

Joey, what a fun thread. I have managed to take a photo of something each day and usually have posted them on Flickr, either late in the evening or in the morning of the next day. Couple days behind... I do my layouts on Sunday afternoon. I am struggling at times to come up with things to photograph, especially since I did a POTD for most of last year. If I have photos of the same things, so what! is my mantra now. And Katrina, I am so sorry for your loss. I found that being out with my camera was very helpful during rough times last year.

Yay! We made it through a month and so far so good. I add the daily photo right to my weekly LO as soon as I get done editing. Even if I don't journal right away (bullet list really). I have the photo in place to finish it all up each Saturday. And, I am sticking with the same papers and elements for the whole month. I also started a blog to keep me honest and I participate in the Flickr group (what an amazing bunch of ladies!).

I did really good taking pictures. Just now started putting together my layouts. I had originally ordered the CK kit, but after having my kit backordered I decided to go the digital route with my album. I am really really excited to put together my pages now. I made myself a template and use the free CK downloads from Becky Higgins blog. So all in all I just have to put everything on the template and add the journaling. Easy peasie!
Here is to another 11 great months for p. 365

I am loving doing this. There have been times I have not been able to actually take a photograph, but I use one from another day that was different than the POD I had chosen previously. I am using Katie's Photo Clusters 10 which have 7 frames and I just rotate them. Then at the start of the week I will start out with two layouts, and the one that fits naturally evolves by about mid-week. Then I pick one and journal about that one. So far it has worked for me. My background is getting boring to me, but I had decided when I started that I would change it seasonally, and I don't know about you, but it's still Winter in Oregon.
![]() I figured if I could make it through the first month I would probably be able to finish the year. Feeling successful already. ![]() Candy |

Littlekiwi, I've got a list for myself of things around the house to take a photo of if I have no inspiration for the day.
That includes my handbag/what's in my handbag/ that nice cup of coffee/ what I'm watching on the telly/ favourite ornaments etc. I guess I'm making things easy on myself by doing a mixture of photos that represent the day and ones that I just like as photos. I can always add info about the day in my journalling on the LOs.

I've managed to take a 'snap' a day...sometimes just stuff like my knitting or a bowl of soup (?)... the problem I'm finding is having the time to keep putting the pics together!
I've started with the easiest of designs and don't want to fall behind and give up as I think this is a brilliant way to remember the year! My journalling is pretty simple too, that way it's all achievable for me—well it will be once I get round to completing January!

My 365 has been fun too. I started it late, and have pretty much caught up now. I am working on week six and will post five and six together. I do load a photo a day to the DD Flicker POTD site that Sara spoke of. That makes it easy to just pull the photos out and into the layouts.
I have found after finishing the first four weeks, that I need to see the facing pages together before deciding that they are ready to load to Shutterfly. I have started a MS Publisher string of pages that I can view two at a time and copied each layout as it will be in a book. Amazing that what I thought would line up doesn't line up at all! Anyway, I am working on #6 . . . which has nothing at all to do with the fact that I may never finish it with #52! I am really enjoying all of the 365 pages in the gallery. And, each time I see a new one, I think ... ummmm, maybe I should change my format! But ... I am sticking with what I started with and am happy with it!

My goodness... I have stayed on top of the photos and the scrapping... but I haven't even given Flickr or my blog a thought! I think I will expand on all of that at a different time! I am posting my finish 365 pages on my facebook so that friends and family can see... but I am at my limit I think ; )

![]() As for changing your format, Mollie... don't! I LOVE it! And, wanna use it, too... along w/all the other great formats in the gallery! Hence... I haven't even started yet! (Yes, I've photos and journaling for each day... I just can't decide on my "format"! 'Cuz going back to the "matching" thing... I *need* this book to be formatted all the way thru... I'm just weird like that! I'm just needing that proverbial "first baby step"...

Debi, here is a screenshot of page two facing pages in Microsoft Publisher. I will be able to add all 52 pages plus my covers in one string. I only have 12 of the pages set up, but it is easy to add or subtract as many as you need. Easy Peasy!
![]() I like to have all of my pages that I am using in a book all "in a row". I don't use these for printing purposes, just to see how they look together. In Publisher, it is easy to just click through them. Doing the facing pages in a 12 x 24 or 8 x 16 PSE page would be the same thing, just not as easy to string all of the weeks together. ![]() I think that you can do this much better in either In Design or Illustrator too. But, I only have Publisher, so that is what I do. Make any sense?
