Re: this layout & Patricia's questions
The teddy bear was sitting on the bed when we arrived and added such a nice, cozy feel to the room. That is my hubby hamming it up with the teddy bear while I am trying to take photos of the room at the b&b. He is almost as adorable as the teddy bear.
I haven't been sure how to tell the story of this trip and the bear as everytime, I just want to focus on the cuteness of the bear and Mike hamming it up with it and have a hard time finding placement for much journaling.
Been planning on making a layout about our resolutions but haven't gotten to it yet. For new years, we made a resolution to take a trip somewhere in Georgia to explore the state we live in now as well as to make sure that we spend some quality time together every month.
The spurring on was that I find it hard to get inspiration from taking photos of my everyday as it is pretty boring and the same everytime. These trips will give me the opportunity to take my "model" (Mike) on "photoshoots" and get some new views of where we live.
We also decided that part of that resolution would be to stay at b&bs as they have a more local feel to them than hotel rooms and Georgia has a number of "green" b&bs which goes along with another resolution we made this year.
The teddy bear was one of those touches when walking in the room that told us we were staying at a place where customer service and hospitality is number one. It became kind of our mascot for summing up the experience. Warm, cozy, and adorable inn of great quality.
We agreed that we wouldn't be taking our laptops on any of these trips but separating Mike from his ipod touch is a near impossible feat. This b&b even had wi-fi so as I was taking photos, he was immersed in it and when I bugged him about, he pretended to be showing the bear how to use the ipod... as if a bear needs to know how to use an ipod
