Default Anyone up for digital weigh ins?

I've just posted a LO in the gallery about losing weight. It is of course a bit tongue in cheek — but I am really serious about kick starting my weight loss — so I'm going to do a LO every two weeks and post up the news good or bad. I just wondered if anyone else was up for this kind of thing. We could support each other and it might be fun to document the journey...off course you could always lie and say you'd lost 7lbs when in actual fact you had put on 2lb... but on the other hand we could do this together! What do you think, anyone else up for this challenge? Note that I haven't actually mentioned my starting weight...

I'm totally in!!! I was only 3lbs to my goal weight on my wedding day (Oct 4/08) and sure enough after the wedding I let myself go & now I'm 15lbs up. So I have 20lbs to my goal weight & I'd like to get there by June when we travel to Croatia & have to wear bathingsuits!

i'm in. my dh has lost 105# since last easter, and now i have to start losing too or he'll weigh less than me in another 8 months. and there's no way i'm having a dh who weighs less than me. i've fought it since thanksgiving, and after ups and downs am down 6# since then. about 90 to go...

I just started doing a 12 week challenge with a mom's group that I am in... would love to have another place to be accountable... and if I just have to put the # pounds up or down, I can definitely do that!

Count me in...I really need to get the 15 lbs i put back on off again!! My favorite jeans are so lonesome in the closet!! I don't know if I will do layouts about it, but I will work on it with the rest of you...this could be just the motivation I need!! Thanks!

I'm right there with you, Kathie. Same number of pounds. Same jeans issue . . . but mine is a bit different. I actually went out and BOUGHT a pair of jeans too small to give myself a goal. LOL

Could I get in on this, too? I need motivation to work out...I don't need to lose more than 10 pounds, but I have BRA OVERHANG and a MUFFIN TOP that would send you screaming & running in the other direction. So, I'd like to check in with inches lost!

I'm in, but I HATE weighing - so I might do it by inches off my waist! Since I sew, that's more important anyway! I need to lose a whole pair of pants!

Ok, I will try it, too. I use to have the perfect diet plan. I would just have a baby and then nurse them. After a few months I would drop below my ideal weight and then when I would quit nursing I would go up to where I wanted to be. Well, you can only have so many kids and it's been nine years since the last one. I would love to loose 5 lbs. and 10 would be fantastic.

Fiona what a great idea. I'm on the weight loss wagon at the moment, have lost 8.2kg (18 pound) and have a ways to go before I'll be happy. What a great way to document it.

I'm in We're doing the Biggest Loser at work and I'm doing WW online. I had the lap band in July 2006, lost 125 lbs, then had gall bladder issues for a year that I didn't even know I had, so I hit a plateau. October I had emergency surgery and now I have the go ahead to get started on the weight loss again. I have lost 12 since 1/7, and weigh in is again tomorrow at work. I have about 60 more I need to lose.

Can't wait to support each other here!

I guess Im in too. I am not thrilled about doing the work it takes to lose weight again, but I need to do it. I still need to lose the last 10 pounds of baby weight (from Tanner, lol) and then the remaining baby weight from Rilyn. I need to lose at least 20 and more would be healthy. And that just seems overwhelming. But what a better group to do it with....im in.

I'll play. I'm not trying to lose any weight, but I am trying to eat healthy (no sugars or white carbs) and sticking to my workout 5 times a week. Does that count???

Checking in - my weigh-ins at work for our Biggest Loser competition are Wednesdays. I am doing WW online, too. I was down 5 lbs this week! AND I was the biggest loser for the week!! We have 25 competing. I was down 5 last week, too, so bye-bye to the 10 I put back on and hello to continuing to watch the numbers drop!

My tip for the week...DRINK YOUR WATER!

STEPHANIE!!! WHOO HOO!! That is so great. Congrats to you.

I have some thought about this process...
1. How are we going to keep up with the pages that people do about this challenge?

2. How are people actually planning to do this weight removal act? Exercise? Diet? Magic?

Ok. those are my questions. Of course, I wouldn't be here if I wasn't in this with you all!!

Should we ask Randy for a gallery? I did it the last time with the 365 ask. Somebody else do it, ok? Or maybe we should just post links in a new thread every month. What are we gonna DO?? Fiona? Anybody?
