Default Inkjet paper

Well, I am new to all of this, having made only one non-digital scrapbook in my life and recently getting smitten with the concept of digital scrapbooking! So I dove in a couple weeks ago and am now ready to start printing out some of my pages, but I have one problem- I don't know what kind of paper to use! We have a good quality photo printer and I'd like to print my own 12x12 pages. Any suggestions on the best 12x12 inkjet paper and where to get it? Thanks so much!

I tend to stick to the paper that matches my printer... so since I have an HP, I use the semi-gloss.... The High gloss often "sticks" in my photo albums. I have had best luck when printing with the paper that is made by the printer.

I second Kari's suggestion. The companies spend a lot of research and development time making sure their papers and inks work well together... may as well take advantage of that. Plus, the results are usually more durable (less fading) when you stick with the name brand/name brand combo.

I use Epson's PremierArt™ Matte Scrapbook Photo Paper. It's 12x12 inches already and is a nice weight/quality.

I have an Epson printer, so I tend to use the Epson PremierArt Matte Scrapbook Photo Paper also. It is a wonderful quality and my LO's always print so nicely on it.

I have an Epson printer as well-when I print 12 x 12 I like the Premier Scrapbook Paper as well. Lately I have been printing 8 x 8 and use the Ultra Premier Matte paper in 8.5 x 11 size. I have done two Shutterfly books and think I am heading in the direction of having most of my stuff printed there.
