Lightbulb Need Baby Album ideas ...

Help! I'd like to make a baby album for an acquaintance to complete (write on & put pics in). I would like to create it digitally & then print it out and present her with an 8x8 album. If I have it printed on matte-finished paper, this would allow her to write on it more easily, but I'm concerned about how her glossy photos will look when she tapes them on the page. A glossy print-out I'm afraid will make it more obvious that her photos are "dimensional" and the rest of the elements on the page are not, and I think it's a little harder to write cleanly/successfully on glossy paper as well. The obvious thing would be to create it traditionally rather than digitally, but I've converted and I just can't bear the thought of dragging all that stuff out again & taking the time to make everything perfect!!

Hoping someone has seen something or has an idea that I might be able to use ... anyone? Thanks so much!

I made a baby book like this and have them printed a lot. I have it printed on a press printer through my husband's work, but you can have it done at a local print shop. I have it printed on semi-glossy cardstock (it doesn't look glossy at all) and once you put your page in the sleeve, you'd never know that it wasn't done all by hand. I get a great deal too at $0.12 per 12x18 page and I cut it down to 12x12.

Oh, and a pretty pink Jill-E bag!

I know, I was paying $1.25 at the print shop. Then the hospital where he works did them for $0.12. I was shocked.

I did a book for my daughter. I did the entire book digitally, printed the pages on matte scrapbook paper (Epsom), then added more elements from Michael's and the local scrapbook stores to make it hybrid. Actually printed frames on the pages, titles, spaces for journaling, and for baby's "firsts." Carrie adds the photos and journals on the pages with scrapbook pens.

this thread holds a big interest for me. My daughter's "big sister" from sorority is due to have a baby in near future.
She has been a paper scrapper, and I would love idea...to get her toward digi.

If someone has gift idea...please let me know.
