I'm enjoying it too. I'm looking at things differently, like "hmmmm I might mention this or that".

Plus it's the first gallery I stop into when I'm checking out the pages. Does that make me voyeuristic? Wanting to see what you've all gotten up to in your week? LOL

I will ditto what Kelly said....I sure wish we had more photos and journaling of the mundane things in my parents and Grandparents life. My husbands grandparents homesteaded (we still live on the homestead) in 1910 with no electricity or any moden conveniences. My FIL said when he left to go to school (on a horse) his mother would be scrubbing clothes on the wash board and when he got home from school she would be in the same place....I just can't imagine doing laundry ALL DAY! If anything would prompt me to do this, it would be for my children & grandchildren to see how far they have come.

And that's exactly why I'm doing this project. I want my two grandaughters to read about Gramma's Life when they're my age. How I would LOVE to read about a normal day in the life of MY grandmother. And a whole year? Wow! What a treasure this will be!

Also... If I do miss taking a photo, I have no problem at all in taking it later, to fill that slot. I didn't get a picture of my Curves, the day I found out it was closing, but I journaled about it, and will go down next week to take a pic of the sign before they take it down.

A year from now, I won't care whether I *cheated* or not. For me, it's just to keep a record of my mostly mundane life. *Ü*

You all are so funny! But, Carol, I find that I am the same way. I am really enjoying reading about what everyone else is doing all week. It is so interesting (even the things we all think are mundane). It is so cool to see how we are alike and how we are different.

I am a digi-newbie and I thought I would jump right in with this project. I already have the first two weeks done. I am using a free kit and free templates. This is going to be fun. I am going to be learning from all of you I hope!

haha, well I meant it in the most innocent of terms. Like when you go for a walk and it's dusk and people have their blinds still open and the lights on and you can see inside when you walk past. This 365 kind of gives me the same sense of looking into your lives.

I should stop now right? ROFL

I know everybody here is as impressed as I am at the incredible level of talent just in the 365 pages, not to mention the full gallery itself. I've started making a list of the cool ideas I see in the 365 layouts for future use in my own. I decided to use different templates and papers for each two-page spread to keep up my own interest level. That way I can incorporate the fabulous techniques down the road. Make sense?

Carol, we love you anyway. :O) I knew what you meant (once I looked it up) but, I couldn't resist.

Linda, every book I've made so far is varied as far as pages. Like you said, keeps it interesting as far as artistry. You will love it! :O)

I just found this thread and I'm literally laughing out loud!!! I love the 365 challenge . . . I'm not doing it, but after reading this I am thinking that I should start.

I've been pretty much out of pocked for the month of January but I've photos each day so I guess that it is never too late.

I am going to follow Carol around and snap her looking into windows at dusk!!!!! {Carol . . . I love to look into lighted homes (from the safety of my car) and imagine the lives that are lived inside them too}. I've yet to be arrested either! LOL

I love this project and the incentive it gives me to make each day count. Even if I just get one thing accomplished each day, it makes me not want to waste a day.

It really does make you see the everyday things a little differently doesn't it.

I am just doing the photos right now. I have a heap of scrapbook layouts on other stuff I'm busy doing, so think I will either, put them all in basic templates later on, or maybe even use them as full bleed photos in a mini photo book, like I did with my six months of photos last year.

I still want to do the full bleed photo book like you did, Mel. Such a great idea!

I am loving seeing all the pages as well. Gotta agree with Carol--i do feel quite the peeping Tom but can't resist. I have stressed over not having "spot on" photos for the day--but then I think of what I would be so happy to have from my grandma or mom, and figure anything is precious. Almost through the first month..and hoping I can keep up!!

In order not to stress myself, I am doing a Project 182.5!! I plan on taking 3 to 4 photos per week. I agree with Kathie...even to have a photo per week from my Mother or Grandmother would have been awesome.
