I wouldn't recommend doing that, Rusty. Your software will become sluggish to the point of frustration. The more you load into the program, the slower it gets.
I keep all of my digital kits (including brushes) on an external hard drive and just open them as I need them in order to keep all of my computer resources available. That said, copy the content you want to add and navigate to the folders using this path: In Vista the path is: Start > Computer > Local Disk (C) > ProgramData > Adobe > Photoshop Elements > 7.0 > Photo Creations > In Windows XP the path is: Start > My Computer > Local Disk (C) > Documents and Settings > All Users > Application Data > Adobe > Photoshop Elements > 7.0 > Photo Creations > from there, you can paste the content into the folders labeled: backgrounds, text, etc. |

Thanks Sara... appreciate your advice!
LOL I already reorganized my files and had to redo them... but got some great info while looking for information here. I kinda thought it might be a mistake, but while it may be a little easier, the thumbnails aren't big enough for me anyway (even if I reset to the larger ones). Still taking classes and reading the PSE7 manual ... baby steps! LOL rusty rake aka: Weezer |
