ALWAYS ask DD!!
I am moving everything to a new laptop and I had created a BIG mess!
 I am using PSE6 and I thought I had to move all my files to my new computer before using backup and restore to organize them in Elements. Joey (babyroo7) started a great thread yesterday about the Organizer. Sarah (dugarner) and Sara (sarahorton) had exactly the answers I happened to need, too! After learning that PSE backup and restore actually moves all my files for me and then sets them up just as I had them on the old computer, I was able to fix it all after some days of frustration! I could have saved myself a bunch of stress. The moral of the story? Always ask DD! Thanks, Joey, Sara, and Sarah!!!!

making note of this - and subscribing to this thread - b/c it appears to be inevitable that i'll have to upgrade my computer sometime this year.

have i told you that i love you? thank you, you can be sure i'll pm you. i'm going to try to wait as long as possible, b/c i really, really don't want vista yet. plus, the expense. but i know it's just a matter of time now...
