I just love this page by Tracy. The color, the depth, the photos, the use of that freebie floored me and lets not forget the mirror imaging. I love the whole thing!

There are so many people whose LO's are in my faves! But this one by Vinnie Pearce really fascinated me. Maybe it's the light streaming through the windows, or the juxtaposition of the lovely child & the ruined background, or the emotions it evokes in me. Anyway, I love it (as I do most of her work!) I have a HUGE list of other LO's that I wish I could put in here too! Can we start another "other favorites of the year" list? I'd have a lot to add!

this is really hard, I have so many favorites. I just love this page by readstoomuch (Mollie), I love the overlay, the whole feel of it

First of all I have to say this was really hard. It's like that other question I avoided "Who from DD would you like to have lunch with?" Everyone of course. Most of these listed so far are in my favorites and I see a few I missed. There is so much talent here, I have 29 pages of favorites and something in there from all the regular posters... amazing talent and inspiration. When we all lost our favorites, I was bummed but there were a few that I knew I had to go back and find and this is one by Sam Ellis that really tugged at my heart. I noticed that she's not much of a journaler in her LOs and neither am I, so I was really moved by her story and (our stories are similar) privileged that she shared it with us.

Our Mel just oozes art. I don't know how she consistently produces so many amazing pages, but she does. This one was so imaginative and creative.

OMGoodness, Donna you have made my night (I guess I could say year since the ball dropped in NYC). That page is one of my favorites for several personal reasons and to have it mentioned in this thread just makes me grin from ear to ear.

Firstly Angela THANK YOU for mentioning my lo and me ! It was one of my all time heart tugging lo's I did ( funny thing is I DO love to journal ! )

I hate to admit it I am not a great "put it in my favs file". Dunno why cos sooooooooo many lo's from you ladies I KNOW should be in there. Many many lo's should be.,

So ! I am not gonna single anyone out and many of those that I would have already been shown.

There are a lot of beautiful layouts posted here and it is difficult sometimes just to decide whether or not to save it to your faves, let alone to go through and pick just one fave of the year. But I love this one posted by Shellerec called First Snow. I love the soft vintagey look of the photos and all the elements she chose to complement those with. I think the overall aesthetic of it is just gorgeous.

So many of my favorites have already been mentioned. I have this one from Teri (TeriA) in my fave file. I think Teri's photgraph is awesome, love the blending of the tracks into the background paper and I think Teri's use of the circle masks is just fabulous!!!

First off... boy, ya sure miss alot when you're busy and sick... This was so much fun going thru all these wonderful layouts!

Steph... you totally made my day! *mwah* (I'm secretly immensely proud of that photo... still wonder to this day how I managed to catch that shot! LOL)

And, since Cassie already posted my all-time favorite layout ( "vulnerable" by Sarah [shhhbabymine]) at the start of this thread, I went thru my favorite folder again. Love doing that... and found that I have quite a few of BillieBee's layouts in there (couldn't just pick one!), alongside Joey (babyroo7). And, I must say that between Joey's wedding album and her 3-day cancer walk, well, wow... stunning and moving.

So, without further ado (and no more rambling on my part!)... I hope a Shutterfly album can count here... 'cuz I LOVE Joey's whole album... this just rocks!
