Default Ok I'm new...let me tell you what I am looking for...

I'm not new to photography, but I am new to adding something new for my clients. I realize in taking good pictures, that a very creative product should come with your images. I love almost all of the stuff that I have seen here. Not sure how I even got here, but nonetheless I'm glad I found this place.

This is what I want to do. I want to offer my clients scrap books with my images...such as senior books, or newborn type of books.

It looks as tho I can upload my images to Shutterfly to create these types of books. I would however like a designed template...but where to find, I'm not exactly sure. Where do I buy these templates...also how many pages come in the set? Also, if the template is 12x12 do I have to stick to that size or can I make a 10x10, 8x8 or even a 5x5??

Please forgive my ignorance, because as i stated above, i am new to all this design stuff.

I do know photoshop so working with templates hasn't been difficult for me.

I truly hope someone out there can help me. I live in Houston, so if anyone wants to tutorer me I will be happy to pay.

Thanks again for reading this thread, and also helping.

Most templates can easily be resized within Photoshop or through the print lab. If using for clients, just check the TOU to make sure commercial use is allowed. There are many templates available through the shop here and quick pages--which is probably what you are looking for.

Welcome to DD. . As Shayla mentioned, you would need to make sure you purchase the templates with a photographer's license. You can design in 12x12 and even upload that size to Shutterfly. The print company will resize it automatically depending on the size product you purchase.

As for tutoring, you might want to check out the tutorials in the store. I have one specifically about using templates called "Getting Started with Templates." There are also many more that deal with various techniques to improve your scrapping.

Again, welcome to DD and feel free to ask for any help you need!
