Default Arghhhhhhh....getting frustrated!

I know that because its only a few days before Christmas is the main reason I am so frustrated, but I cannot find a place to print my custom calendar. The top and bottom each are 8 1/2x11. I would like it to be double sided and preferrably paper one can write on after the fact. Why is this so hard??? I remember when I first started digital, this is why I ended up giving up because printing was an act of congress!

Any suggestions for printing?? I would like the calender to be useable when I'm finished and be able to write appts and stuff on it.

Kinko's should be able to do it---they can duplex in color and I think it's only $2 to get the ring spine on it.

I second Kinkos. They do a great job.
Any office supply store should be able to print and/or bind calendars for you.

I have had good luck with Kinko's, too.

In fact, one of my printing jobs was sent to them via email. I talked to a salesperson about the job and he told me what to send them. He talked to me again after he got the attachments just to make sure what I wanted. I picked it up when ready. Worked slick.

Would they print the bottom part (the grid as well)?

Well, they would print whatever you give them to print.
This template for the bottom (grid) part is available here at DD:
2009 Calendar Grid by Katie Pertiet

Check out Kinko's custom calendar service here. Looks like you would provide the top part of the page with the photo and they would provide the grid.

If it is convenient for you to go to Kinkos to talk to a sales person about what you want to do I'm sure they would help you figure out the best way to do it.

Kinko's did mine this year. I went through shutterfly last year and you really can't tell the difference except the shutterfly one has shutterfly on the back.

I've used Kinko's in the past as well. They can definitely do the job, but you have to provide the calendar grid. I will, however, say that I only used them once. I found their colors to be WAY off; i.e., much more muted than in my LOs. I realize there are calibration issues; however, I ended up printing my own after that. I am using Apple's print services for the first time this year. Haven't received them yet, so don't know if there will be any issues.

I had this same issue but wanted to print at home. See the excellent advice here:

http://www.designerdigitals.com/ddms...ad.php?t=10972

I printed on matte photo paper using my Epson Stylus Photo R200 and they turned out great. I do have to turn the brightness way up on the photos to make them print correctly. I think it is a Photoshop adjustment issue but as Cassie once told me the easiest thing is to just turn up the brightness to lighten the image.

I used the BinditAll for the first time and it works!!. Good luck with your project.

Thanks girls! I had resorted to printing them at home only to find out my 1 month old HP All in One Printer was out of black ink and the local Walmart doesn't carry it even though I purchased it there. Talk about frustrating! I found a Staples that is willing to print them for me and they are giving me their Calendar price of $12.99 and then they are going to ship to me! RELIEF at last!

I'm still secretly hoping for an Epson r1900 for Christmas!

Thanks for the update. You've had some roadblocks thrown at you for this project, but, it sounds like you persevered! Glad you found a solution for the printing of the calendars.
