So I've been digi-scrapping for a while now. I used the free book offer from Snapfish and that was the first time I've ever printed my layouts. I didn't do it quite right so my pages came out less than stellar. I was just at my local Wal-mart and saw the Your Story book binder. It looks like it makes similar books to Snapfish. I was just wondering if anyone here has used it. And also, wondering if anyone has had pages printed at their local Kinkos and how the quality came out. I like the idea of having control over the whole process so I can fix problems as I see them instead of paying for a book and not getting what I want. (I know I got the first one for free, except shipping.) This option also seems cheaper. Can anyone offer advice?

The thread with all the DD books is HERE
It could be the gutter thing or even the colors. I've been worried if my mac is calibrated correctly - my scanned photos don't print right. There are so many variables to consider! |

I had done all my pages 8.5" x11" and the pages are actually 8" x 11" so some lines of text were cut off (yes, I know its my fault). Also, some of the colors weren't what I had expected, but I can deal with that. Maybe I'm a control freak, but I HATE when things don't turn out the way I expect. That's why I'm considering just doing it all myself. I just don't want to spend a lot of money and get something I don't really like.
