I'm dying here, Cassie!!
I know you just got back, and having done two of those trips myself, I know you are exhausted and up to your eyebrows in adjustments and settling in ... BUT .... I've seen you post in the forum since your return and I can't WAIT to hear all about your trip! And I certainly cannot wait to see more pics of your new daughter!!!! Sorry, patience is not my strong suit!
 However, for your sake, I will try to be patient a bit longer and just say "Welcome Home"!! Know that we are all praying for you and sending warm wishes to you and your wonderful family!! Wishing you peace and a truly blessed Christmas and New Year ...

You are so sweet.
 Having spent three of the last four weeks 6,000 miles away, I have to say that my priority right now is getting the "groove" back. The trips couldn't have gone any smoother. The weather was so cooperative (we only saw snow one day) and the people were wonderful. We spent a week with our new daughter in Moscow before bringing her home to a very excited older brother. Now we've just spent the past few days acclimating her to her new home and throng of adoring family and friends. I promise to do some pages as soon as humanly possible. Right now, every bit of down time I get seems to result in a nap on the couch. We are definitely looking forward to Christmas this year. It's going to be so much fun to see Jack sharing the joy of the morning with a sibling. My husband and I just keep making little comments like, "Oh, look . . . the KIDS are up," and "Don't our KIDS look great today?" We're pretty giddy about the plural form of that noun these days. Thanks again for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. We are truly blessed.

Thank you for sharing that! I completely understand the need for naps. Those first weeks back are magical, exhausting, full of new discoveries ... all at the same time. LOL! Enjoy every minute of them! And remember that there are several of us at DD who have been in the same place if you should have any questions or concerns. Please don't hesitate to ask. As for LOs and pics, we all will be happy to see them in due course! Get your rest, settle your family and relish the time together! Welcome home!
