Default Last night's DD Cookie Chat!

I had such fun last night at Katie's Cookie Chat! Katie packed the house, and there was just the best group of "chatters" ever.

Katie gave out a wonderful freebie recipe card pack, and some very cool web sites for cookie bakers! We talked about everything under the sun . . . along with cookies!

The most fun thing is going to be the scrapbook pages of your favorites that are going to come into the Holiday Recipe Gallery. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with! Check out this thread by Katie if you don't already know about this new challenge for the holidays.

I could only stay a few minutes, but it was a great chat. I'm excited about the challenge. Time to get baking and scrapping!

I missed the chat! Drat!

Are the recipe cards going to be in the store so I could purchase them? I would love to see how some of you talented folks use them, so is there a special gallery the layouts will be posted to?

And can someone post the cookie bakers' websites?

Katie, was the recipe site you mentioned last night cookiemadness.com? I thought for sure I'd remember it, but I'm old! Anyway, that's the excuse I'm using! Thanks!

Chris, So glad you were able to join us last night! You wasn't the only one who had trouble keeping up, I had trouble too.
Slow internet, slow fingers, and the enjoyment of everyones company; Priceless! See you all in the chatroom.

I'm sorry to have missed the chat last night since I bake a batch almost every week! Did anyone see the chocolate cookies Martha made on Wednesday's show? (At least I think it was Wed. Getting up at 5:30 am this week is messing with my head) The were round with a thumbprint filled with chocolate ganache. The recipe posted on her website makes 90 cookies!!! My goal is to cut that recipe in half, scrap the cookie and eat some while doing so!
