Default I'm a bit surprised...

at which items are the #1 sellers for our creative team members! Although the ones on sale tonite are certainly lovely, none of them are really what I would have expected to see there (except for the alpha from Rob/Bob.)

I don't know why, but I had other "possible best sellers" in my mind for the creative team members. At least based on the LO's I see here, I expected to see some of the "heavy hitter" items that I see over and over again in LO's to make the #1 spot. I guess that means that there are TONS of buyers out there who just don't post LOs?

Anyone else surprised? Again, I think the #1 things are great! Just not what I expected.

J

Funny that is exactly my feeling also - even though I did check out the most popular items a few days ago - I was also surprised! Funny that, huh?? (And how about this....go figure, but it seems I have most of the items already...so no shopping today anyhow.... LOL!!!)

I did too! Some were surprising but there are so many people buying guess we all don't have the same taste. Will keep an eye for for different things as the days go on.

I guess they're the best sellers ever rather than the best sellers this year.
Some of them weren't kits I was familiar with, either.

just went and looked at the various designers' most popular items --- it looks to me like a lot of them are practical and useful over and over.

I think it's fun to see what others are buying. It caused me to take a second look at some things I overlooked before!

I was a little surprised, but I am looking at those items to see their possibilities and looking forward to see what items are #2, #3, #4..... It is fun to see what the most popular items are.

I wonder if the stuff the CTs get counts toward the popularity totals.

Older items and items sold as a .25 or .50 special probably have an advantage. Trends in what people use probably wax and wane.

I recognized all the items, although I don't own them all yet.

Yes, I was surprised, too. It was so interesting to see which items are most popular.

Katie's Notebook Paper and Cassie's LIAO were the only ones that didn't surprise me.

It looks like a great line up of best selling favorites to me!

I remember a trivia question at one of the chats was, "What is the best selling kit in the DD store?" The answer was Katie's notebook paper kit, so, I'm not surprised to see it in the list of specials for today. It is a must have basic!

I remember being so thrilled when Pattie's Speedbyte for shaped text came out. I see Lynn's Worn Photo Edges everywhere in the gallery. Seeing Dana's Grungy Little Christmas Paper Pack again makes me want to create a new page immediately with one of the gorgeous papers. Cupcake Princess and Monkey Do kits are perfect for little boy and little girl pages. As for learning new digital techniques, you can't beat Anna's Gradient Brush kit or Cassie's How to Make Extractions.

I was surprised, too. I think these are the everyday items that are used a lot, but don't stand out as much. I know I have several of them!

I'm not surprised. Like Merrilee, I remember the chats about best sellers and check them occasionally. I also did a calculation to see what days my wishlist items were going to come up, and saw all the best sellers then!

I am looking forward to when they are all up...I actually did find one thing I didn't have yet...so I got it...but mostly because I just saw it used in a layout yesterday..it is easy to overlook cool stuff when there is so much to see...but most of the time, my wish list comes from things I see in the gallery..especially lately! I may need a second job!

I'm new to this, so I didn't know what to expect. I wish I knew about those gradient brushes, extractions and text paths. But I grabbed everything else that appealed to me!

FYI, I'm pretty sure I read the info on DD of Christmas to say that the items will only be up for 24hours for sale. I don't think it is cumulative.....ie., the most popular from each designer will be off sale at 7pm tonight....then the 2nd most popular will be on sale for 24 hours. If I'm wrong, I'd love to be!!!

Yes that is correct. These items will be off sale at 6am EST tomorrow (Friday). The items starting at 7pm EST tonight will be on until 6am EST on Saturday.

I read it as they would be on sale till like Friday and new ones would constantly go up. Not cumulative. But it was just more than the 24 time period.
