Sarah, take a look at Mollie's gallery. She's been reposting her pages from last year for us to enjoy. http://www.designerdigitals.com/digi...er=311&cat=500 She is the one that inspired me to do try the challenge this year. I've actually been looking forward to each day in advance getting ideas of things to spotlight.
![]() My book will begin with Thanksgiving. Here are my first pages: Sarah, I then did a page on my Christmas music. You could also do ornaments, traditions, etc.

I love this project! Everybody is feeling yucky with a cold in our house, but I'm determined. I'm keeping it SUPER simple Sarah just so I can complete it.
I'm also approaching it from just grabbing photos of whatever we might be doing and if we don't do anything then you will probably see ornament and decoration photos. |

and then choose copy image location then come to the post and click on the image icon above the text field [the one with the little mountains] and 'paste' into that field click okay and the picture should be added! HTH!

Ali, thanks for that word of encouragement. I took pictures of my sons eating the panini sandwiches I made tonight. But I was almost too tired to do it. I was thinking...I'll just write about what an exhausting day it was!

I haven't scrapped anything yet, but --gasp!-- I've actually taken photos for two days now! That's amazing for me!
But, thanks Ali for letting me know it's OK if I miss a day (or two... or... )! This will be so cool! Thanks for starting the thread, too, Mary! Can't wait to see everyone's pages!

I have to admit that with a 3 year old in the house we really really work at making it festive for him. Since he understands Santa this year and is interested in him it is making for an easy time (and it's only the 3rd!) With the added kick of this challenge I rarely put my camera down
(although...well, I rarely put it down anyway...I am the one who met a friend wearing my camera having left my purse and $$ at home!)

Here's my December 3 LO.
And speaking of which, I'm having trouble embedding images in my post---what am I doing wrong? Thanks! Sarah |

Sarah, I have a pc and here are the instructions I follow:
Go to your image in the gallery and right click on it. On the menu that pops up, click on properties. In the window that then pops up, highlight the url and then CTRL-C to copy it. Go to the forum and press the insert image icon (the mountains) and then CTRL-V to paste your url in there and then press ok and it puts your image into your post. Hope that helps. |

And this time it worked! Thanks! I hadn't been copying the link from the properties box. That was the problem.
By the way, I love your DD book---the pictures on one side and the journaling on the other. I'd like to do that, but I print my annual family 12 X 12 book in January, and it would make that month a little too $$$ for me! ![]() Sarah |
