Printing cards

I created an 8x4 card for the holidays....will post it here as soon as my DH installs his new hard drive.....ugh...computer problems.....

Anyway - how do I get these printed? I want to print it through Shutterfly but I have never done this before. I looked at their website but under cards are just templates......how do you submit your own design to be printed as an 8x4 card?

I would like to be able to make individual birthday cards, etc....at home, design them and print them at home. I am always confused on how to print these...should I design the front, cut out and attach to the front of a pre-folded blank card, or design the whole card, print and fold? I would like to do pretty much all digital. Can the pre-folded cards be run through a printer so they just print on the front? I have seen card templates, but they only seem to be for the card front. Thanks for any suggestions!

i've never printed my own cards, someone else will have to help with that advice, but it's doubly embarassing to see my own stupid question linked again! i looked everywhere on shutterfly to find that link last year. now i log in through DD and never have that problem.
