This really sounds interesting and I'm going to try at least one of them. I don't have much in DD product yet (but did some shopping the other night). Will this be done just with the freebie - or will we/can we use other items. And - if we can use other items can they be from a template?

Templates are a great place to start. You can use it all or pull them apart and use just one or two pieces! In the credits you can just mention which templates you have taken pieces from.

Thank you so much for the goodies. They are perfect for a heritage layout of my Dad. I'm using a picture of his childhood, the only one I have. I've been working on my layout for a couple of hours, but I'm still not finished! LOL! At least I have a layout started, it's been a long time since I have scrapped.

Missed Katie's chat with a family on/off visit but it looks as if the freebies were gorgeous as usual! Looks like a lot of great layouts in the gallery.

I've just been able to shower and breakfast without worrying what I'm missing! the new format is working well!
I just discovered that these forums have a number of different Display modes. you can switch between the traditional view and a threaded view which just lists the posts and looks more like the chat room but it only lists start of each post. Did anyone try that? If only it listed the entire post it would save so much scrolling!
I was wondering if there was any option to turn off images. That would be another way to condense the forum thread...

Actually, in answer to my own question...
Up the top there are also thread tools which includes a Printable Version. It is BRILLIANT for catching up on thread viewing!!

I really have to say that I have liked this format better than the old one. It has been a treat to have some breathing time to scrap today.
Thanks for a good process.
