It’s time for another Simply Inspired Contest and for your chance to win some free Designer Digitals goodies!!! Just use the inspiration piece to jumpstart your next layout and a $10 gift certificate to the Double-D store could be yours! Wanna play? Let’s get started!

This week we’re using this cool poster as our inspiration piece:



Such a fun collage of grunge, rust and distressed goodness. When I saw this, my mind immediately turned to so many of the fun products in the store. From the paper to the worn edges to the wings to the hardware, you could probably recreate this poster piece for piece. However, that’s not necessarily what this challenge is about. Feel free to take one small concept from this design and use it to spark your creativity. We want to see all the different and unique ways each of us is inspired.

When your layout is complete, upload it to the Simply Inspired gallery on or before November 16, 2009 to be in the running for a $10 gift certificate to the Designer Digitals store!!!

And as always, feel free to post your layouts here as well or share your thoughts on the challenge (what inspired you, a round-about way this jump-started your creativity, other ways to interpret this piece, etc.). Or feel free just to say "Hi". We like that too!

The winning entry is voted on and determined by Designer Digitals and it's creative team. While everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in every Simply Inspired contest, individuals are eligible to win once in a six month time frame.

Arg, I've never tried one of these challenges so I'm excited ... but I can't get my layout to post.. it says uploaded successfully but I don't see it. Anyone got any tips for me before the deadline?? Thx

Most of the time, if your page won't post, it is too large of a file size. Try shrinking it a bit? The max size is 700 pixels.... You can read more http://www.designerdigitals.com/digi...gStartedB.html
