Simply Inspired Contest No. 15
Inspiration : Print Ad Deadline : August 24, 2009 Time for another Simply Inspired contest!!! Your mission is simple. Take a look at the current inspiration piece and use it to jumpstart your next layout. Then simply upload it to the Simply Inspired gallery on or before August 24, 2009 to be in the running to win a $10 gift certificate to the Designer Digitals store!!! Simple. Fun. Inspiring! Let’s get started! This week your challenge is to create a layout using this print ad as your inspiration:  Take a look at this piece. What’s the first thing that draws your eye? Is it the clean modern collage? The color palette? The subject matter? Look closer and you’ll notice the effective use of texture in the photography, the cool typography and the gorgeous outlined foliage brushes. Take whatever speaks to you and use it to jumpstart your next layout. Remember to upload to the Simply Inspired gallery on or before August 24, 2009 so we can all be inspired by your creations!!! Feel free to post your layouts here as well or share your thoughts on the challenge (what inspired you, a round-about way this inspired something completely different, other ways to interpret this piece, etc.). Or feel free just to say "Hi". We like that too!  The winning entry is voted on and determined by Designer Digitals and it's creative team. While everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in every Simply Inspired contest, individuals are eligible to win once in a six month time frame.

oh i like this.. My Nantucket peice would have been perfect for this.. but I alreay uploaded it
 but i do love the purple/green colors.. I am sure i can think of some photos to scrap!
