Hi Katie

Me again - aka the idiot! Maybe it's just the jet-lag - no it's definately me as I couldn't even open the links from the chat last night (the PK and AA ones) - wow never done a chat before! You have to be a whizz on the keyboard hey!

ANyway, was just flicking through some of the other entries - checking out the competition! To see if I have any hope (and the answer is not really - but I'll try!) and it seems that some have re-coloured some papers and elements. My undersdtanding is that they cannot be tampered with in any way.........please clarify! Obviously the brushes, etc can be but the papers and elements I didn't think could????? And I am guessing that we can't use parts of a layered template - ie just a tag?

the reason I ask is that I want a pink paper but will never use it again so don't want to purchase it! So re-colouring would be the way to go!

thanks Katie - sorry I know you are so so so so busy!

Suzie - the idiot AND a Pain!!!

recoloring of DesignerDigitals products is allowed because they are still designerdigitals products!

Just curious here. Are we supposed to have 6 pages in the Guest Contest gallery?
I've seen some with extras, not including double pages, and was just wanting to make sure something didn't change and I missed it!

I understood it was 6 layouts - no more - no less! I hope that's right!!! I worked so hard for this contest! never done one before and the last layout was 12th I've ever done! Didn't have a clue what I was doing really! Funny how I used the same products generally though! I have a feeling i might have quite a few products that will just sit there for a wee while!!! I hope not! I love these challenges as it gets you to find the tough shy inner artist in you! It makes you think twice before putting something on a page! And hopefully it will make me use all those products that sit quietly doing nothing!! I really enjoyed it! I will be a contest addict I can feel it coming! I'll never win of course but I'll have fun trying! I'll just have to go to bed at reasonable hours and not at 4am!
Anyway, in answer to the above - I am sure that what was put so you and me gal - hopefully we got it right!
Good luck for the contest. I'm going to look at youir gallery now - except my thomas is asking for a play at the park..........dilemas!

Yes, 6 layouts but I did notice a couple of 2-page entries and that had been discussed to count as one entry!

The team is voting now and we'll be announcing soon!

I admire everyone who takes on the challenge of a contest like this one. Long time friends and new friends to DD joined in and gave us beautiful inspiration. I can tell you all worked very hard because the results are wonderful. There will be one winner.....that's how contests work.....but, you all should know and feel you are talented artists.
