Bailey, girl, you just have to submit! Your work is so worthy...and you never know what they'll pick up. Often it's the layouts I least expect to be picked up that get pub'd. And the ones I love never get pub'd. So it doesn't hurt to just subit!.

I'll second that. I've had only a few layouts picked up, but they always surprise me. My favorites NEVER get a second look.

Also, don't worry about creating things specifically for a call. Just make your art for yourself and your family. When a call comes, submit what you have. The nice thing about DSM is their "Simply Stunning" call that has no boundaries.

) And just a sidenote, even if I WANTED to create a page for a call, I couldn't... It truly takes a heap of inspiration to get a page knocked out, the only thing that can muster up any sort of art out of me is my family

Wow, it's been 3 weeks! Maybe there were so many fab layouts that they're deciding if they should make the mag bigger.
