CK Call for Traditions & Celebrations

You scrapbook to preserve memories and moments that you treasure and want your family to remember. How do you capture and preserve the special traditions and celebrations (i.e, regional events, cultural celebrations, holidays, weddings, birthdays, and other events) that are important to you and your family?

And how do you scrapbook those photos to create pages that reflect your heritage and family experience? Do you choose certain colors or patterns to fit the theme of your photos? How do you embellish your pages or journal about these important events?

We are looking for multi-photo (preferably two-page) layouts that showcase those memorable events and traditions that you cherish—-whether it is part of your heritage or unique traditions that reflect your experiences. Please submit scans of up to four of your favorite pages that showcase how you scrapbook these special traditions and celebrations.

Submit scans of your pages to editorial@creatingkeepsakes.com. Deadline for submissions is March 12. Electronic page submissions should be less than 500K in size. Include “TRADITION Pages” in the subject line. If the journaling is illegible in your scan, please include the text in your e-mail. Also list any interesting tips or techniques featured on your page. Please include your full contact information, including a phone number and valid e-mail addresses.
