I'll be waiting for the answers to your questions posted here, but in the meantime I'd like to say that I have LR and I love it for the organization that it gives me with my photos just as much as the editing. I do not shoot in RAW yet and I like what it does for my photos so far. (of course I'm not comparing RAW to JPEG side by side) There is lots of wisdom out there so I'll check back, too.
