I agree Liz...this is so exciting!!!
I don't want to speculate as to why some women are not accepting of us "digi gals." I for one think that it's all about personal preference, resulting in one common goal...a documentation of our lives. I hear the statement "scrapbooking is an artistic outlet" by some of the same women who criticize digital scrapbooking. The only difference I see in both types of scrapbooking are the tools being used. I honestly don't favor one over the other b/c I feel they are different enough in terms of artistic expression, yet the end result is still just a slice of my life (with just a little bit of icing on top).
I am so excited to see that CK is accepting this...they picked some amazingly talented women (I'm still shocked that I'm sharing the title with them). Digi is the wave of the future yet I firmly believe that it will never replace traditional scrapbooking...they just compliment each other (if you let them)...I love that!
