I love the story of this company, and had just recently read it somewhere. While I don't intend to be in the serious camera business in this lifetime, I enjoyed hearing how they created what they needed. As they said in the aforementioned story, they asked everyone what they used to protect their cameras and lenses and the funniest (but I bet useful) one was Maxi-Pads.
I liked that story so much because a friend of mine broke her collar bone in college (way back in the 60s) and to keep her arms in the correct position, the doctor had her stuff sanitary napkins in the fabric of her arm slings. Yes, yes...on occasion one would slip out much to her embarrassment.
