I don't understand how it saves money, because for the other six months in the year, we've put the dark on the other side; the day is still 24 hours, and we still have our routines. So when we fall back, it's getting dark at 5:00 p.m. but I'm still staying up 'till midnight with all the lights on. When people were widely agricultural, it made more sense because they would only work from sunup to sundown, and then eat and go to bed. But in the 24-hour world today, I don't see how it makes much difference.

But I do enjoy coming out of church at 7:00 p.m. and being able to let the kids run around for a while before it gets dark. We've all been sluggish and unproductive today, for sure.
