Yeah! Got it all today - didn't really get to play much this afternoon - got too dark. But the lens is a wonder - incredibly sharp!! I used it with the flash and the soft diffuser thing I got - which works really great too.
Turns out I can't really use the extension rings with the macro lens, because it doesn't have an aperture ring as I thought it would (the very newest Tamron 90mm lenses for Nikon come without this, just like the ones for Canon). And I didn't get the more expensive Kenko tubes which have an electrical connection.
But I can still use them with my other lenses. If I can figure out how to use them.
Will have to try them out this weekend.
