I'm waiting eagerly too. I have downloaded the trial, and am using it without tagging because I'm not sure if the database will be convertible when they launch it. They say that it will be able to read metadata in files, so you could try using Bridge to add keywords etc for now, and hopefully ACDSee will read what you have added of tagging when they launch the final version.
