LOL, I am a bit cranky as I ease back into the school routine! I just registered for my classes this morning. I had to decide whether to take a lighter load this term or to forge ahead and try to get through faster. I opted for faster. I will try to do some recreational scrapping, when I can find the time. I do love browsing the messages and gallery as my way of relaxing and de-stressing!
I have scrapped occasionally about my journey-- starting with that mysterious page I did in '08 about taking my application to the seminary. I need to do more of that, and Aino and Patricia's new initiatives with Art Journaling and PageKraft are right up my alley!
DD is a very special place, not only because of the great products, but because of all of you. We have all shared some amazing things, if you were to count all the stories told in galleries and message boards. Sometimes all we need is a way and a prompt to unleash the stories that can open the way for more authentic and more deeply meaningful lives than we ever thought possible.
I know that my scrapping over the past two years has been a way I processed some of the most troubling or moving or difficult issues of my life-- but you only saw the tip of the iceberg in the gallery. Journaling (which I haven't shared here) and scrapping have moved me toward greater faith, higher aspirations, and deeper peace than I thought possible. I wish more of the same for all of us.
Now I need to go relearn all the Hebrew that I've forgotten since last summer-- part two starts Thursday!!
