I know, I can't wait to get my hands on the full version! I posted on the acdsee forum about when to expect it, but no definite answer I'm afraid. This tells me, though, that it's better to wait with the upgrade until a couple of days after it comes, so they can pick up and remove any bugs...such as deleting databases. By the way - do you know where the ACDSee database is stored on the mac?
