I have come to realize that I am more of a 'write a story' and illustrate it with some photography, tho it was photography that led me to scrapping. I think of the DD as a very holiday decorated album with short daily snippets or words and photos in it. Holiday spirit visually but daily events. This is my interpretation of Ali's message in any case.
So your pictures and journaling can easily be summery but in a holiday wrapping?
As for me, this year I'm just doing Cathy Zielske's Tags, esp as we do a lot of travel around now.
