So, I'm checking out prices of the Canon Digital Rebel on Amazon to help Rlagoon in her choice of a new camera, when I spy the Canon 50d at an amazing price. It doesn't come with a lens, but who needs those, I already have 4 lens that will fit it. SO.....

I splurged!!!!! I now have the camera and used it at the football game last night. I spent a full day familiarizing myself with button placement etc. Wasn't too much of a learning curve since I already used a canon.

What I found out is that I REALLY like the bigger screen to view the pictures on - I wasn't having to blow it up constantly. AND, the continuous shoot mode is faster than a machine gun. I had to really work to not take multiple shots. The focus seemed much faster and clearer - just a truly awesome camera.

Just had to spread the good news AND..... now I will browse the posts and see what else I just need to put on my wishlist - lol!
