Green bean bundles are also good, but they're a little time-consuming. There's not much cooking required. You don't have to use a toothpick to hold the bacon on, just wrap it around the handful of beans.

You can do this with fresh beans for a more festive presentation, just steam/boil the beans to desired consistency on the stove, cool, and proceed.
