If I understand correctly, your issue is with the protective sheets not the pages themselves ... right? If so, one thing I can think of is static electricity. I've had protectors get wrinkled before, and it was due to static electricity. Not sure how to discharge them, though. Maybe someone else can suggest a solution for it if that is your problem... HTH!
