We are losing our sweet dog Cody today. It's been such a tough decision to make and my heart is just absolutely breaking.
Cody is a golden retriever who has graced our family with his loving presence for more than 17 years. He's watched over our girls, stolen winter hats off their heads while running along side their winter sleds, made us laugh by holding three tennis balls all at once. His idea of fun when we lived in the country was to roll in something awful and come running home to share with his family. He's slept next to us, sat by our sides when we were sad, put up with a new puppy (his best bud Jackson) and the addition of three cats.
He adores bananas, cheese and bread. He's truly the epitome of man's best friend and I am going to miss him so much.
Thanks for listening...it's going to be a sad day here.
