Nothing new to really add today. No crashes with the IV pole.
That's something I will NEVER forget!
Dr. Graham stopped Cellcept and Zxvor. He said that he really believes that Bekah has en-grafted (98%) but has seen these two meds slow the cell growth down. So he thinks that when cellcept is out of her system in 5 days she will start to show some growth. (We hope even before then!) He switched her onto a different antibiotic. Her infection is now showing negative...yeah! We just have to finish out the course of days now.
I asked Dr. Graham how many meds she will be on....he responded....."umm, maybe around 25 a day." !?!?! I think my jaw hit the ground. He did say that included the 2 new ones for the infection as well, so without those it would have only been 23. ...I was so shocked I just nodded my head. I think the most she has been on is maybe 8 a day during Immune Suppressant Treatment! Not to worry....we do what we have to and I feel so lucky we have our little Bekah!
Bekah has a beautiful bald head. Most of her short little hairs have now fallen out. I just want to rub and kiss it. Exactly what she doesn't want!
