Yes, you would lose them even with the resizing. I keep mine in 1/4 inch. I have used stitching before at 3/8" from the edge and it is trimmed. It's always safe to keep any detail 1/4" in on all sides. I find I do a lot of BG paper with the worn/grungy edges on a paper on top, and the BG paper is what I allow to be trimmed. Trim is not a perfect science, either, there's usually a percentage either way they say they can go, and can't predict. It's a personal choice, but I'm always thinking better safe than sorry! Sometimes the preview shows everything okay, and then the trim is farther in than the preview showed.
