Bekah received the Halloween goodies basket you sent yesterday, and despite it being a really rough day, Sharlah says there was a smile. Sometimes that's all you can ask for when a child is so down. I know your gift meant as much to Sharlah (and Rich when he arrives and sees it) as it did to Bekah.
I have a dear friend, who is very very artistic, but uber fluttery when it comes to computers and all things electrical. I have told her about various on-line communities and how it brings tears to my eyes when I think about how people all over the world can share your joy and feel your pain. I think my friend now 'gets it' tho she can't get her brain to work with her fingers to do it. We're all gifted in our own ways. Many years ago I heard that "A joy shared is doubled and a pain shared is halved." I know from my own experience that is very very true.
