I will paraphrase Cathy Zielske ...and say you don't want it to look like a Font Sneeze with fonts all over the place. I may go to three if I use a 3rd strictly for numbers but then look at one of Ali Edwards latest
10 Things Layered Template LT381294.jpg and see if this appeals to you. I'd say that's one way of using font as part of the actual design.
Personal style is ....very personal...so think of what you like, how your own home fits you and be comfortable with what you create. imho, there is no 'right or wrong'. Just my 2 cents. ;-)
