I just got it back! Very humbling experience to shoot with my Rebel. The 70-200 lens does fit, just sucks battery QUICKLY and IS doesn't work.
So glad to have my trusted friend back! When Ian saw it on the table he shouted, "mom got her camera back!" I guess he's become a bit familiar with it too!
