so i have kept my preferences so that i can edit in iphoto -- and drag and drop if i also want to edit in pse6-- but for some reason when i go to edit a png file, like a brush or a stitch, etc, it's still all black and i can't see the stitch or brush. I just got an imac, so i assume and have done all the most recent updates. Could my problem be because the most recent version of iphoto doesnt let you change to white? I went into iphoto preferences and changed the slider in appearances to white -- but png files are still all black.
