I got THE BIGGEST surprise this evening, having put my kids to sleep - I came down the stairs and on my laptop there is a UPS package waiting.
With a note: "Surprise!"
So there is my "just-passed-your-exam-and-soon-you-have-a-birthday-gift" all in one: a brand new shiny sweet little Tamron SP AF 17-50mm f/2.8 lens!
Yes, that is a fixed f/2.8 thank you very much!
It might be a third-party lens, but it is ONE MEAN little lens that is supersharp and fast. And wide. And did I mention sweet?
I can't wait to try it out in daylight tomorrow!!!
I have to say, my dh might be a major pain in the *rear* occasionally, he sure knows when it's the right time to make up for it....
