Look what color space you working in Photoshop I was working in Adobe RGB, but lately switched to sRGB IEC61966-2.1 you'll find it under Edit - Color settings - also when you save for Web and Devises it gives you option to preview how it's going to look on different screens and "Preview" button let's you preview the internet looking page and believe me after previewing I went several times back and adjusted the colors...

The first one I did thru Web and Devises, second just resizing resolution to 72 and saving with my then Color working space Adobe RGB... totally washed out.
Also in the "View" - Proof setup you can find a slew of different options to preview your work for example for printing on your or other printers... hope that helps.
