Prayer request
My brother in law (husband's youngest brother) in Orlando is really really sick. Thought it was pneumonia but turns out its something else but they don't know what yet. He has been on a ventilator since last Saturday and had a feeding tube inserted Monday. They were hoping to get him where he could breathe on his own to do a bronchoscopy but this afternoon they had to go ahead with it and hope he could tolerate it. they got samples and are growing cultures to try to find out what the bacteria is. He's in critical condition but hanging on..they have kept him sedated since Sunday. tomorrow they are going to try to let him wake up and switch him to a different kind of ventilator..he's been on an oscillating ventilator...I have no idea what the difference is. Anyway, he's the baby of the family *five minutes younger than his twin sister...and we are all pretty worried. He's such a healthy guy, at least until now. thanks in advance for your prayers....he really really needs them. His name is Carey.
