I'm not going to be much help here---I purchased several templates here, and after two weeks realized it just wasn't going to work. I consistently had the wrong orientation pictures; like you, I couldn't shrink, and I was spending so much time reworking the template that there was no longer a point in using templates. So I made one up where I can put either type of picture in every box.
