Wow... right now I'm wishing for a second monitor (and more desk space!!) after reading about Heather's method. But in lieu of that, I tried the printing route. I set my print option to print the pages in sets of two on a piece of white cardstock positioned horizontally (landscape). I then cut the pages in half (between the two images) but kept them in two side-by-side stacks. I did each month separately and then separated each month by a piece of 8.5x11-inch chipboard and added a tab with a label. I then broke them into three-month "books" (Jan-March, Apr-June, etc.), sandwiched each set of 3 between two more pieces of chipboard, and bound each "book" with my bind-it-all. Not the most efficient way to use this, probably, but it satisfies my urge to have a physical book to look at and thumb through when I can't be at the computer, like in the car. I can also put the book in front of me if I want to lift a design ... though I'm still wishing for that second monitor!! My eyes also tend to need a break from the screen before I need a break from scrapping, so this is one way I can still look for inspiration and plan LOs without being on the computer. I didn't really need to cut the pages apart, but I like being able to flip through the two stacks, especially if I want to use a couple pages at a time for inspiration. Anyone else try printing this out???
Here's a photo, in case my description didn't make sense...
